CULTURE & GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Maintaining an inclusive and supportive environment begins with our guiding principles. These values guide the actions of all employees, at all levels. They are the foundation of our culture.
Passion
We are genuine, authentic and passionate in everything we do.
Respect
We value differences and respect one another, our guests, and our history.
Winning Attitude
A winning attitude equals a willing attitude-positive, upbeat and helpful.
Integrity
We do the right thing and encourage others to do the same. We are honest, reliable and ethical.
Service
We strive to deliver exceptional service to our guests and each other every day.
Teamwork
We work as a team to create the best experience for our guests, as well as each other.
Pride
We eagerly tell our story and share the legacy.
Creativity
We encourage and celebrate innovative thinking.
Fun
We are fun, and we have fun.
OUR EMPLOYEE PROMISE
We promise to provide you with the support and resources you need to deliver exceptional service in a fun environment where you feel respected, valued and inspired.
DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
We give each other permission to bring our whole selves to the workplace. We believe everyone-our employees, vendors, partners and guests-deserve to feel seen, heard and understood.
There are multiple opportunities to join us in fostering inclusiveness and empowering growth-including our Employee Resource Groups, Diversity Council, and Volunteer Time Off (VTO) program.
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
We love to promote from within, and many of our leaders started out in entry-level or mid-level positions.
Our Leadership and Training team offers a wide range of learning tools and resources-from orientation sessions to leadership development programs.
Whether you want to learn a new skill, transfer to a new job or location with us, or hone your abilities in the job you love, we are here to support you along the way.
CORPORATE GIVING AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
We care about being involved in the communities where we are located and give back in three focus areas:
Youth
Enrichment programs with an emphasis on providing opportunities to disadvantaged children in the local area.
Arts
Arts and cultural education programs that directly impact the community and elevate awareness in the preservation of our history.
Education
Primary, secondary, undergraduate and post-graduate institutions with special interest in schools located near our holdings.
Since 2005, the RHP Foundation has donated millions of dollars in unrestricted funds to nonprofit organizations in these focus areas.
We also support these areas through our paid Volunteer Time Off (VTO) program for full-time employees.
